Bird Watchers Package

Maumee Bay Resort is the perfect place to spend your day birdwatching! The park features Wetlands that contain over 300 recorded bird species including the great blue heron, red-wing blackbird, yellow warbler and much more! If you stop by the shores of Lake Erie you might be able to spot the Bald Eagle, which is making its comeback in Ohio with a majority of the nesting pairs reported on the lake's shores. After a day of enjoying the vast variety of wildlife Maumee Bay has to offer, relax overnight in a standard double room at Maumee Bay Lodge.

Winter Carnival
December 26 - 30, 2008
This 2nd Annual Event is fun for the entire family. Each day during the week, the ballroom at Maumee Bay will be transformed into a large recreation center. Activities include: putt-putt golf, corn hole, ladder golf, bean bag toss, race cars, football toss, shuffleboard and many other indoor games. Some games will have a competitive aspect where kids can win prizes each day for being the best in their age group. Along with the indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi tubs, fitness center, and game room, there will be free sleds available for guests throughout the day, weather permitting. Each night will conclude with a "Karaoke" and "Dance-Dance Revolution" contest followed by a family movie.
$89 plus tax per night in Double or Lakeview Double Room
